Robert Raymond

I fell in love with Florida when I moved to Sarasota as a boy. Sarasota was a small busteling tourist town during the season and after it was very quiet, almost dead.
I am a second generation artist. My father was an artist. I began painting after I was discharged from the US Army and I had my first one man exhibition in 1991. All of my works were of the Sarasota that I grew up in. Much of it was long gone by that time. The Herald Tribune Newspaper wrote of my coming exhibition and included many photos of my paintings. It was a great success.
Since that time I have continued painting and selling paintings of all things Florida.
