Roman Pietrzak

Roman Pietrzak is a Polish sculptor, born 25 July 1963 in Nowy Targ, Poland. He is a recognized sculptor and drawer, whose works have been shown at many exhibitions both home and abroad. Weary of reality, he treats his art as a refuge from hypocrisy and relativity of the modern times. It is, however, not a weapon, but a moment of reflexion, an amusing conversation with himself, a never ending walk through a magical world of light, form, facture, composition and color. He attempts to approach the art normally.

Roman Pietrzak is a Polish sculptor, born 25 July 1963 in Nowy Targ, associate professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw. He graduated from Antoni Kenar PLSP in 1983. Between 1984 and 1990 he studied at the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 1990 he graduated from prof. Stanisław Słonina’s Studio of Sculpture. Between 1992 and 1993 he continued studies at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels.
