My Paintings are a photo-based "surrealist style", depicting situations that seem to reflect a "disturbing sensibility", attempting to shock my audience into staying "inside the question" or mystery, hopefully to initiate awareness.
The work can be generally described as surreal and conceptual, trying
to convey the idea of "seeing ourselves seeing". I am strongly influenced by
Maurizio Cattelan and Gerhard Richter.
I try to lead the viewer through a portal into "nothingness", or essentially,
trying to paint what ISN'T there.
