Rosemary Brown

I use a multitude of colours to achieve fully abstract as well as semi-abstract expressionist paintings. In doing so I largely use different media such as oil and acrylic paint applied onto a layer of plaster cast on canvas giving the paintings a haptic quality.

My recent paintings have used a splatter drop approach applied loosely with a brush to resemble how the randomness of nature forms a conceivable whole.

I use art daily in the context of my professional work as an occupational therapist. Thus realising the everyday importance of art.
