Ross Broomhall

My approach to painting is purely experimental, the process itself is what inspires me to paint. my practice is entirely self-reflexive, I just love to explore the mediums greater potential for creative expression within the Arts.

I wouldn't say i'm too overly concerned with trying to attach "flamboyant statements" to my work, for me this takes away the fun and restricts what i can achieve.


I do enjoy reading critical theory however, but i prefer not to let it conflict with my practice in any way.


My chosen medium is oil, but on occasion I like to experiment with acrylic and other industrial and found materials.
