Kisaakye Rwamugogu

Kisaakye is a visual artist born in exiled Uganda who specialized in painting, sculpture, performance, and installation. He is a Rwandan artist based in Kigali. When grow up he was always interested in art.

He found that sharing his story in exile and the effects of genocide against the Tutsi. Will help his journey to heal and find happiness.

There's figurative images in his work with Silva colors on bodies to give power to the silva-back gorillas and he uses mud on the background to show how Rwanda was in past, present and will be in future. His work feature in many private collection around the world.
