RW Hawkins is a large format, black and white film photographer. In the field he uses a 4x5 inch view camera to capture the images which are then transformed in a traditional darkroom to fine art silver gelatin prints.
His current focus is on interpreting the decaying industrial landscape of the 20th century. Past projects have included documenting the ancient dwellings of the American Southwest, and capturing intriguing landscapes of America’s four corners area.
