Sergey Trunin

My work is inspired by my love of pictorial photography. When shooting, I often use a soft-drawing lens (monocle). Photo printing is a search for opportunities to create a photo image that looks like a drawing, graphics... where there is light, air, contrast, color experiments. I am engaged in analog photo-processes - cyanotype, gum bichromate, lit-printing, printing on cotton paper with the application of photo emulsion. Each photo, taken in this technique, is unique. It is impossible to make two absolutely similar images.

In 2011, I completed the course "The Photographer" in Russian state Institute of Cinematography (VGIK}.
