An IT engineer by qualification and a photographer by "¨calling, Sahil Mane (b. 1985) took a slightly circuitous route to reach his dream. This involved stints as a writer; and web and TV videographer and journalist. 2010 saw him graduate the year-long course at the prestigious "¨Hallmark Institute of Photography in Turners Falls, "¨Massachusetts, USA. Blessed with an equally strong left brain (honed by his "¨engineering degree) and right brain (encouraged by "¨architect parents; and stints with web and TV, as a writer, and on going engagement with videography and "¨photography), he describes himself as "an introvert who can't do without "¨people: quite a paradox and whacked foundation of a personality split right down the middle." It is this unique worldview reflected in the distinctive and slightly eccentric works, that are, essentially, him.
Sahil's works have been published in BBC GoodHomes, India, and displayed at the Gallery at Hallmark, Gallerie Nvya, New Delhi, the Gallery at "¨Svenska, Mumbai, and the LA Center for Digital Art, LA, USA.
