Simply Connect. . .
As a Canadian artist, I paint mindfulness through colour. Archetypes and mythology also find their way into my images.
Most of the images stem from personal photographs. Increasingly, my interest lies in the archetypes within society. I am fascinated by mythology, meditation, stillness, Jung, dreams, masculine energy, feminine energy, shadow, light and their collective effects on the psyche. Occasionally, images from news stories inspire my brush.
In this world of instant communication, the mindful process of layering colour on canvas has become a novelty. No electronic devices are required. I wish for you the time, space and serenity to simply connect. My intention is to bring you the same joy I experience in the creative process. Thank you so much for visiting!
