Expression and imagination.

I am inspired by the beauty of rich intense colour and imagery drawn from nature, the environment and a study of textural surfaces be they natural or Industrial.

I love to create modern textural abstract paintings, dramatic atmospheric scenery as well as meaningful Islamic artwork, bringing the beauty of colours and textures into the home or workplace.

I mainly work with acrylic paint, incorporating classical painting techniques with 3D textural work using a range of acrylic mediums.

I love to create depth with simple lines and I am passionate about illumination and iridescence within a piece of art, capturing the essence of that radiance and allowing the viewer to observe the interplay of light over that texture and how that painting changes with different lighting surrounding it.

The Islamic artwork of course has a great spiritual meaning and significance to me on a personal level. These paintings are mainly commissioned pieces for private buyers and are very rewarding to do.
