Sanjukta Goswami

I Sanjukta Goswami am an Indian artist who grew up in Kolkata, India, and now lives in California, USA.
I try to find the meaning of beauty in life through painting. .

Inspired by all the various artists in this World, by how beautifully all different artists color their Canvases and make them look natural.
I am learning about how when different people around the world come together as one, it is like mixing different colors on the canvas to create one whole.

Growing up, my family surrounded me with art. My uncle, grandfather and sister were all collectors of art. So slowly my love
towards art and painting came along.
In my teens, I always tried to draw the beauty of nature on my canvas and it steadily found a place in my heart.
Though I never had any formal academic training in painting, I spent quite a long time understanding art.
I finished my graduation in philosophy, then I became fascinated in the way of our city/culture of Kolkata. Some day in the future I hope to draw our beautiful city.
Mainly I work on canvas, paper and use a variety of tools like large squeegees, painting knives, and many different brushes to move paints.
I generally work on one painting at a time
