Sara Canonici, an Italian contemporary art photographer and content creator, was born in La Spezia in February 2000.
Passionate about photography since her teenage years, in 2020, driven by the need to document the lockdown period, she worked on the photographic project "Quarantine Days: My Point of View."
This project was published in 2023 in the book Visions (Tab Edizioni) and featured her participation in the Premio Marche 2022 - Biennale D'Arte Contemporanea di Urbino, Italy, with the work "Logoramento dell'Anima."
In 2023, she worked on the photographic project Tossico Indipendente, which addresses the theme of dysmorphophobia. In 2024, Sara Canonici was featured in DOCU Magazine and, after various group exhibitions in Italy, exhibited at the Galleria Gadarte in the historic center of Florence.
The themes she tackles are empathetic reflections on experiences she has lived through personally, extending to all those who observe her works.
