Sarah Bartlett

My preferred medium is gouache, and I paint the delightful, the desirable, the elegant and the bewitching. Inspired by fashion, history, mythology, the esoteric and the decorative arts, I dip into my box of paints to conjure colourful narratives celebrating the beauty and mystique of the feminine psyche.

Although I studied for a B.Ed degree in Art at Middlesex Polytechnic, I am mostly self-taught.

I have recently exhibited my work at Alma Margo Studio's group show in London. Over the past five years, I have sold my artwork to international clients in Nice, France.
