Sarah Greenman

I’m an optimist at heart and my work reflects this. I am inspired first by color and form and everything that follows is reverberations of color and form. Making art is a social behavior for me - I use it to interact with you and with the world around me. The work is transparent, meaning you can see what I did to achieve it. You see brush strokes and scrape marks and all the little happy mistakes. My work is not bound by a certain style or school of thought but is more concerned with viewer involvement. My goal is always BUOYANCY, VITALITY, CONNECTION and INTENTION.

Sarah holds a BA in Creative Writing from Mills College in Oakland, CA. She is also a graduate of the Pacific Conservatory Theater (Acting) in Santa Maria, CA.
