Sarah Jewett

Born in a little town called Pasco, Washington. Grew up in beautiful Bow, Washington surrounded by expansive farm land, flowing river, mesmerizing sunsets and a bright night sky. My heart is all country.

I find most of my inspiration from my surroundings...though I couldn't do what I do without inspiration from my fellow AMAZING. TALENTED. HOW DO YOU DO IT, Artists! I am challenged by you all and it keeps me fighting to be better. Which leads me to my education.

I am self taught, except for one acrylic painting class I took at Skagit Community College. Yup, that's it!

Self taught. Google search is my best friend, you tube and my very own mind. I love exploring with texture, which is why I paint a lot on wood. I live for vivid color pallets, though I've experimented with just black and white {and all shades between} and found it to be as pleasing as color.
