Sarah Larby

Northern based artist, Sarah Larby, has been honing her skills in painting and sculpture for the past several years.

“I have always been fascinated with the human condition working in a multitude of medias, with a special emphasis on the properties of human skin. I am particularly interested in the face at rest and a lot of my work culminates and utilises the idea and aesthetics of a masquerade. Focusing on the moments in people's lives where they are caught unaware or in states of unconsciousness, I aim to capture a sense of quiet calm in my paintings"
