Sara Reed

My paintings are an exploration of colour and process. In my early projects I was interested in creating works in the form of pages in a book, which gave a sense of recording and layering ideas day by day, as if a visual journal. Whether layering and scraping paint or dying and shaping textiles, creating sculptural layers is something which interests me. My drawings and prints are simple lines, mostly continuous, to represent life as a continual journey.
