Sara Riaz Khan is an abstract visual artist, inspired by the natural world, transformation and ideas that connect people. Her exhibition 'Songs of Spring’ explored common human themes through music from different cultures.
In ‘Earth in My Bones' and 'The Forest as a Dream’ the artist focused on the environment and having a human connection to nature. Colour is an important aspect of her work practice and she often applies it with the intention of excavating it many layers later.
The artist's work in oil and gesso on canvas and paper is multi-layered, textured and available in a variety of sizes. Additionally she works with mixed media and digital images.
