Sarfaraz Laskari

Sarfaraz’s paintings exude light, blossoming at his own, slowly and obstinately. Artistically liberated, radiant & transformed by his young maturity, he enjoys his artistic freedom.

Sarfaraz began to draw at a very young age. He got his sustenance from artistic genetic roots and flourished in the windstorms of modernity. Technically adventurous, he makes use of a multitude of mediums…. Watercolour, pen-ink, digital mediums, oils & acrylics on canvas. His imagery & technique give a touch exuberance to his works & breathe vitality.

Awareness opens his perception to the interdependence and fragility of all life. In Buddhist perception everything is alive & influences everything else revealing bio-spirituality. His works show that he feels the challenge to understand with his intellect & most of all his heart while exploring spiritual connections with an air of mystique.
