Jason Wang

Born in Connecticut, Jason spent much of his childhood moving around cities such as Singapore, Toronto and Vancouver before finally ending up in Portland, OR. He was exposed to cultures of the world that shaped his inquisitive nature.

"I remember the first time looking through my mother's antique photographs and being amazed that something so old could still convey such real emotions and feelings. From that point on, I wanted to use advancing technology in photography, digital art, and editing to express myself creatively."

Jason earned a B.S. in neuroscience from the College of William and Mary and was a Division I gymnast during his 4 years. His interests in human psychology, physiology and chemistry led to a seemingly obvious decision to pursue a career in the medical field. However, he found himself rapidly disinterested and unfulfilled in the industry. He turned to photography as an outlet for frustration.
