Olena Selishcheva

I am a Ukrainian artist from sunny Odessa. I like to work in various techniques, but my favorite is batik painting on silk. I have been doing batik for over 20 years, I like to experiment and combine the technique of cold hot batik, transparent and opaque colors, all this expands the range of possibilities in transferring color and obtaining various image effects. I really like to travel and make sketches in watercolors. The sea is what inspires and fills me, my source of inspiration.

I graduated from the Shevchenko specialized art school in Kiev, then studied at the Grekov Odessa State Art College with a degree in arts and crafts.

I am an articipant of numerous international, city and regional exhibitions.
