I think we get a lot of inspiration from our imagination, our imaginary is what creates us and our points of view, dreams, decisions and consequently our being. In the world there is war and cruelty... But we can have calm and beauty in our imagination. Art is a try to visualize those mystic thoughts. What will rest of us is a trace of this conscious. In my work I try to close in on my original thought by improvising on my oil color painted canvases, cutting them in pieces and sewing them together until I arrive to myself. I enjoy sewing on my work since it permits me to meditate and calm the emotions. I get a lot of inspiration from my Persian cultural background, with its tradition in rugs, poetry and oriental mystic thoughts.

1999: Awarded Baccalaureate "Graphics" at the art school "Honarhaie Tajasomi" in Tehran (Iran).
