Recognised for his portraiture and cityscape painting, SEQ is an expressive draughtsman, figurative painter and a Teaching Artist with Northwind Art based in the US Pacific Northwest. He has studied commercial art, illustration and the classical disciplines at the Pratt Institute, The Clarence Muse School, the High School of Art and Design and the Fine Arts department of Kingsborough Community College.
His works are characterised by solid drawing skills, intense earth colours, and an expressive aesthetic inspired by post-war Modernist philosophy, literature, and theatre.
