Serena Tamburro

My name is Serena Tamburro, aka Seta.
I was born and grew up in Molise hinterland, south Italy, where I actually live.
Passionate about drawing from a very young age, I left my birth place when I was 19 years old in order to attend visual arts studies. I graduated in Graphic Design in 2002 and soon after I began my career in advertising.
Today, my work is divided between the Graphic Designer freelance’s activity and the artist’s one.

My figurative works come from a contamination between artistic spontaneity and graphic technique. They represent a continuous searching for balance and, at the same time, the maximum expression of my inner world.
I love drawing and painting human faces and bodies not always defined, surrounded sometimes by mysterious dreamlike atmospheres.
