Hi,
I am Sevda Uykan. I am a London based British artist. Originally Serbian, I grew up in Istanbul, Turkey. I live in London, United Kingdom. My work reflects diversity and the many influences of my multicultural experience.
My other pursuits include psychotherapy and hypnotherapy.
My art is all about freedom and self-power. I believe that art should have no restrictions. I challenge the fear and the shame perception of people. You will see beauty on the surface with the great darkness beneath. If we don't dare to ask question, then that is the point where the control and limitations starts.
