My inspiration comes from my education background in textile design. I express my artwork by the use of bright colours, forms and textures.



Art is an expression that can awaken your spirit and breathe life into mundane. For the past 20 years of my life I have been involved in teaching and creating art works. I used mediums such as oil, acrylic, watercolour, pastel and pencil, with focusing on various ranges from life paintings to landscapes, portraits, memories and imaginations.

I studied foundation course in art at Rotherham School of Art and Design, which continued with textile and graphic design studies at Huddersfield University and led to a postgraduate study at Central Saint Martin School of Art and design in London, England. Working with color, using various techniques, and learning the principles of designing created an interest in fine art within me and ignited my inner desire to find my way to be a professional artist.
