Sherine Balbaa

Sherine Balbaa was born in Alexandria Egypt went on to attend one of the oldest British schools in Alexandria ‘EGC’ since nursery school at the age of 3 and till graduation from its secondary school. Then achieved a bachelor degree in accounting from Faculty of commerce, Alexandria University.

During the past 27 years, I embarked on cultural trips across Europe, which always included two to three weeks in London whereupon I attended painting classes in Hampstead School Of Art and plein air painting in Kenwood house.

I have also painted in the prestigious Attelier D’Alexandrie, where I have been honored to become a member later and till date.

I have participated in exhibitions that mostly arranged by Attelier D’Alexandrie and currently organizing a solo exhibition there as well. My paintings started classical in applying pastels and oil painting and were mostly inspired from old and Islamic architectures. Then shifted to Modern Art then Abstract.
