Shibani Sehgal

Shibani Sehgal is a graduate from College of Art (1992), New Delhi with a Masters in History of Art from the National Museum Institute (1995). She was awarded the gold medal by the National Museum Institute for her research on the works .
Shibani endeavours to express the emotions of nature through the use of soft pastels, pen-and-ink and mixed media collage works. Her works have been featured in various groups and solo exhibitions, both domestic and internationally. Her works are in collection of various eminent personalities including the Ex Vice President of India..
As an artist, illustrator and art experimentalist, Shibani exhibited versatility and flexibility in her continuing adventure with colors and various media. She hopes to inspire everyone to look towards art as a means of expression that transcends language and extends into the realm of unfettered freedom of exploration.
