Shi Cheng Lim

Born in 1996, Lim Shi Cheng is an artist raised in Singapore, where she continues to reside. Captivated by drawing since young, Shi Cheng’s fondness for her childhood pastime has gradually matured into a passion for art.

As a surrealist artist, Shi Cheng’s works are inspired by her studies in human geography, focusing on the depiction of societal ills and phenomena. Adopting pencils and pens as her mediums, her art is marked by a sombre tone and is characterised by a use of human hands as symbols of human relationships and emotions.
