My work lies in the abstract domain, expressionistic as well as nonobjective geometric.
I respond wholly to random cognition, keeping the artistic method only an instrument between the thought process and the resultant visual form. I do not indulge in symbolism.
More than natural visual stimuli, my artistic process gets initiated with subjectively defined spaces and the result sometimes stands as quasi architectural.
My inspirations include Robert Mangold, David Rabinowitch, Donald Judd, Ellsworth Kelly, Robert Motherwell, Pierre Soulage, Sadequain, Nasreen Mohamedi and the Bauhaus.
My other major work is in contemporary calligraphy, based upon the Arabic, Persian and Urdu scripts.
I accept commissions directly as well as by interior designers and corporate art consultants.
