Simon Garratt

Simon is a UK based fine art photographer and digital artist with over 20 years experience. Even at the tender age of 10, Simon was producing what his tutors considered were works with pencil and paint that were equal to, if not surpassing those of graduate art students. By the age of 16 upon leaving school, he was given honours in art before progressing onto photography in his early twenties specialising in underwater and coral reefs.

Since then, Simon has expanded his portfolio into many differing areas of artistic digital art and fine art Photography, always experimenting and pushing the limits of what he can do.

Specialising in highly limited edition fine art prints, always numbering just 5 copies per piece or less worldwide. His work expands across a wide range of subjects from landscape to Macro, Nature, Architecture and abstract to name but a few. One of his specialist and unique areas is in combining both high resolution standard imagery and selective High dynamic range imagery into single pieces to capture extremely high levels of detail whilst maintaining realism and high quality in his work.
