Sipa Manik

My name is Sipa Manik. I am an abstract painting artist. I did not start my painting activities from any art schools, but merely from a hobby.

Painting to me is not an act of awareness of an artist, but more of a heart's desire. It is revelation of my heart's feel which can sometimes be soft and sometimes hard, as they are all a reflection of what I was feeling during painting.

When I paint, I explore more into my inner self. It means I do not reveal the feel of the object, but more to what I feel at that moment. And that is the very reason why I name my artworks as the creation of feelings.

Here I feel free. Here I feel the freedom to be myself.
From the canvas I learn the meaning of the self purity.
From the brush I learn the way to lead a life.
The colors help me realize the meaning of differences.
And from every stroke I learn to control my emotion. A painting made me realize the real meaning of life. Life is about action. Life needs control. And life needs balance.
