I paint since I was a teenager but I've only started showing my artworks and selling them since 2006.
I always questionned painting and how it could tell what can't be told otherwise, through colors, light and the painting materials.
Illustrated books forged my inner world and my painting is "framed" and contained by them, in the same way the canvas contains the painting!
Words inspire me and they represent the humming stories I tell myself while painting.
I first devoted myself to writing, poems and drama. I directed a theatrical research work between 2000 and 2007 in Paris at Le Théâtre de la Tempête in La Cartoucherie de Vincennes, with a group of actors, musicians and dancers which questionned the expression of the body starting from words.
From 2009 I started a series of paintings featuring women reading which tells my inspiration in books and words but also my commitment as a woman and as an artist to sustain the challenging issue of memoire and education.

I studied English and translation and have been working for more than 20 years in the movie industry translating subtitles and scripts before movies were released or presented in International Festivals such as Cannes or Deauville.

I also trained as an art-therapist at the University of Medecine of Paris V Descartes in Paris
