Sarah Hamilton

Painting is my passion. The natural world, places I have visited and the beauty of the universe all inspire me to translate colours and forms into a visual tangible experience. The process of colour selection, the visualisation and the anticipation before any paint touches the canvas is, for me, one of the most exciting moments of the creating process. I love seeing the paint merge and create new colours and shapes whilst experimenting with different screen movements and the effects they create. Seeing my vision explode in colour and form gives me so much pleasure.
It is only recently that I have come to appreciate how much interest other people have in my art and the pleasure my paintings have given my clients. It has surprised and delighted me to have sold so many paintings in a relatively short amount of time through my social media pages as well as a number of commissions for personal and professional spaces.

In 2005 I graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Primary Education with an Art Specialism but I now paint professionally.
