Natalia Bessonova

My name is Natalia Bessonova. I was born in Russia in Volga River Region. Majority of my life I spent in my adoptive hometown of St.Petersburg, which I love very much. That very impressive city helped me to became an artist. I learned from it, I met some very interesting people there.
I moved to USA in 2002 and continued painting here. I go to NYC a lot, so I can visit museums and exhibitions to keep up with art news.
I sold numerous paintings to private collectors in the United States, France, UK and Germany.
I do commissioned works as well. I love arts and design, I like to experiment with different materials, textures, colors, shapes. I like to paint human mood..
"Painting is just another way of keeping a diary"- Pablo Picasso. This is the language I am speaking on my works and communicating with the outside world.
Art is a life style for me and I can not imagine doing anything else.

I started drawing and painting when I was only about 4 years old. I went to my first Art School at 10 and when I just turned out 15 I left for nearby city to take 5 years of painting courses. Then in 1997 I entered St.Petersburg Academy of Industrial Arts, where I earned my Masters's Degree. I graduated in 2005.Since 2002 I am living in USA, but I spent some time back in Russia.,
