Steven Nelson

I was born in Iowa, raised in New Jersey, and went to college in Pennsylvania. However, I’ve spent most of my adult life in Massachusetts. I have always been active in art but first took up 35mm photography in college during the 80s. Over the years, I have followed the advances in photographic techniques and technologies and enjoy exploring different methods and subject matter. Lately, I feel drawn to the worn and imperfect, showing moments of change and the passage of time (Wabi-sabi)

I have a Master’s degree in Art Therapy from Marywood University and a Bachelor's degree in both Art and Psychology from Muhlenberg College
