I am a Portuguese abstract artist whose work emerges from the meeting point between two distinct worlds: the structured, strategic universe of leadership where I spent three decades as a C-level executive, and the intuitive, sensorial world I entered when I turned toward art. My practice is rooted in this duality — between logic and intuition, discipline and release, masculine energy and feminine expression.

After years navigating the cosmopolitan rhythm of Lisbon and the global corporate sphere, I relocated to the quiet immensity of Serra da Estrela. This shift transformed not only my life but my visual language. The city had taught me structure; the mountains taught me stillness. In this new landscape, texture became my vocabulary. Sand, gesso, pigment, and erosion became the syntax of a new form of communication — one that spoke what words could not.

My paintings are textured emotional topographies, inner landscapes shaped by memory, movement, and metamorphosis. They are not depictions of places, but states of being — thresholds between past and present, structure and freedom, performance ...
