Sonya Lee is inspired by light, colours and textures brought from nature, connecting these with her own hidden feelings and emotions. Sonya produces bodies of work relating to the fundamental simplicity and beauty of life. She works predominantly in photography, mixed media, painting, and drawing, and also incorporates work in 3D and video. Her artistic expression allows her to continuously respond visually to people, places, and our shared human experience. She has been featured in a number of exhibitions in Madrid and online, and her work is held in private collections in Spain and England.
She is one of three founders of the artist platform ‘Better Together’
(IG: ), which enables and supports fellow artists around the world in thematic, collaborative global exhibitions.
