Sophie Hardcastle

Sophie Hardcastle is a Sydney-based artist and published author.
Sophie is currently studying a Bachelor of Visual Arts (HONOURS) at Sydney College of the Arts on an academic scholarship from the University of Sydney.

In February 2017, Sophie travelled to Antarctica as an artist-in-residence with Chimu Adventures. Her resulting body of work, DEEP SILENCE was on show at the ArtHouse Hotel on Pitt St. in Sydney's CBD from the August until October 2017. DEEP SILENCE is Sophie's first solo exhibition.

Sophie's books are published by Hachette, and published as ebooks by Bolinda Audio. She has also been published in ELLE, Harper's Bazaar and Surfing World. She is represented as a writer by Zeitgeist Media Group Agency.

In 2018, Sophie will study as a visiting scholar at Oxford University on the Worcester Provost's Scholarship
