John Bibby

John Bibby (JB) is an artist based in Wales having spent eight years in Australia and other years around the world. JB is a self taught painter without formal training, and, started painting after his wife passed away as tool to deal with stress, to relax. It definitely helped. He has just kept on painting since then. JB's art is very much driven by emotion, either someone else's or his own. Sometimes this results in a piece that is challenging, sometimes funny, almost always striking by use of vivid colours and 3 dimensional form and textural use of the acrylic medium.

The school of life has given me depth in understanding loss, grief, love, hope, joy, happiness and social injustice.
I have several to many academic qualifications that sometimes help.
