Stanley George Goodey is my father (see far right of wartime photo).
Many of these works were created from about 1992 -1995. He was 76-79 year old. I refer to these as 'classic'. For examples of this style take a good look at C10, C11, C14 and C39. These images were captured via a high-resolution scanner hence the higher resolution, sharpness and greater intensity of the colours. You can view more higher resolution pictures at .
He also many years earlier did many life-drawings while at Goldsmith’s College around 1947-1949. These are very interesting and unusual. The background behind the figure was often highly coloured swirls of curves. It is likely that this was the eventual inspiration for the form of the artworks he produced in his mid to late seventies.
Unfortunately, he signed few of his works, however I can personally authenticate any artwork purchase by signing on the back.
Stanley Goodey attended Goldsmith's Art College from about 1947 to 1949.
I would like to organise an exhibition of his work in Camden , London (where he lived).
