Hi! My name is Stephanie and I am a painting artist born Norway with roots in Russia and Germany. I love people and therefore my favourite subject to paint is portraits and people in environments that can help to narrate something about the personality or situation surrounding that person. The genre of a portrait is also quite challenging and I find peace in trying to achieve not only likeliness but the spirit of the personality in one painting. I paint what I see through my eyes, in my world.
I am currently a student doing my MA in painting conservation. I have a wider interest in paintings in general and started collecting them as well.
