Stephen Downs

Steve is a Los Angeles based painter who was born and raised in a small farming town in southern New Jersey. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, he relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the arts. "Rather than capturing a moment in time, my paintings are designed to tell a story. Through color and abstract expression, my goal is to stimulate emotion and thought about what came before and what will come after the image on the canvas. The three things in life, probably the only three things, that will never disappoint the human experience are good food, nature and art."
