I am a self-taught abstract expressionist who, simply, is inspired by the beauty of colors. I love the random and unique blending and patterning that exists everywhere especially in natural phenomenon, processes, and origins such as galactic, botanic, and aquatic. I express ephemeral and yet everlasting stories through energy, movement, and form in which I convey the limitless potential of color. My paintings appear wildly unstructured yet there is an underlying deliberate intention and structure to them. As dramatic as it might sound, for me, colors - aqua, fuchsia, periwinkle, tangerine - are gods and goddesses. I, merely their illustrator, am in awe of the myths and legends that emerge.
