Through sculpture and painting, I explore and celebrate female sensuality in connection with nature and life itself. Female curves mimicked by the sand dunes, ocean waves, mountains, flower petals.
Throughout the year's feminine power has been shadowed and discounted. This has led to a total imbalance within our world, as well as within every one of us. In the process, we have raised a society that is fragmented and unaware that everything is interconnected and we have distanced ourselves from nature - from the very thing we were born from. In modern times female sensual energy has been veiled and we were compelled to hide our femininity if it’s deemed too intense or empowering.
My goal as an artist is to address these issues and to reclaim nature’s abundance and feminine energy that has been suppressed and neglected far too long. This isn't an invitation solely for women; it's a universal call. I would like for us to paint a world where masculine reverts its role as a protector of the feminine, a world where those two energies unite.
