Julie Mercier

JULIE MERCIER (b. 1959, Ottawa, Ontario) Originally 
a commercial artist, then graphic design teacher, turned web designer, and later a user interface designer, Julie has recently exited the workforce in order to concentrate her creative energy into acrylic painting.

Julie now lives on a hobby farm, is a wife and dog mom.

A Bachelor of Arts, a commercial art diploma along with Ottawa School of Art courses, multiple workshops with Canadian artists, virtual workshops, and hours of practice form the foundation of this passion.

Julie is a member of the Merrickville Artists’ Guild and of 
the North Grenville Arts Guild. Many of her works hang on the walls of collectors in Canada and in the United States.
