Suhua Low began her journey as an artist when she studied Western and Chinese style paintings in Taiwan with Professor Shih-ciao Li and Professor Ku-mei Li back in 1968. Even after she graduated from Aletheia University, she continued to expand her artistic skills. When Suhua moved to New Jersey in 1986, she frequently visited various exhibitions and museums. Soon she participated in art workshops by artists with different styles to learn more painting techniques and the application of new materials. Impacted and influenced by modern fashion, she started to learn from contemporary trends through experimenting with styles of Impressionism, Cubism, Surrealism, Fauvism, and Abstract Expressionism. In 2002, Suhua Low continued to study Contemporary Art with Professor Christopher B. Koep. This was when she began to participate in various art exhibitions throughout New York metropolitan area and Taiwan. Since then, Suhua Low had published her book Kaleidescope of Nature Suhua Chen Low, and received an Award of Excellence at the Somerset Art Association.
