Anna Zolotukhina

I have been painting all my life, I always wanted to become an artist. I experimented a lot with techniques, but when I tried the collage, I realized that this is exactly my style. Today I make digital collages which I subsequently translate into canvases, make multi-level paper versions or animations, elaborating every detail in detail, giving a new unrecognizable meaning.
Inspired by medieval painting, mythology, fashion, these responses can be found in my works, simultaneously intertwining
Considering politics, economics, ecology, I transform these topics through naive sarcasm and create new surreal stories.
I’m uses a wide range mixed media of acrylic on canvas, multi-layer paper collages and animations.

Anna Zolotukhina (SURAZICA) was born in Russia, in the city of Rostov-on-Don in 1985.
After graduating from a specialized art school, she continued her education at the Rostov Academy of Architecture and Arts.
Professional activities of a graphic designer carried out in the companies "Red Cube" (Moscow) and "Gulliver" (Moscow)
and illustrator of glossy magazines "Spears", "Bolshoi Sport", etc.
In parallel, Anna was developing as a multifaceted artist. She has participated in exhibitions from regional to
international level as part of collective expositions, as well as in the format of personal exhibitions. Currently works in
mixed media, creating metaphorical works reflecting the organic and destructive connection between man and the environment
nature.
