Susy Freelove

born in 1961, Brunswick, Maine, U.S.A. Attended a "hippy" Free school in the 70's. lived in San Francisico and graduated from S.F.A.I. with a BFA and MFA. living in Ireland since 1986.
"I have spent most of my life as an artist, working in the community creating large scale imaginative and interactive events for people of all ages. I love to use what others throw away and my work over the last 4 years has been mainly made out of discarded materials. I am interested in art and the environment and what it is to be human on this planet. but also to live through dreams and bring them to waking reality. I consider my work to be playful but also dark.
